What a fantastic hotel, the owners were friendly and welcoming...All the staff we encountered were warm and friendly and really gave the whole hotel a great atmosphere... the room was amazing and very comfortable. The whole hotel has just been refurbished and what a great job they have done!

We booked a table in the bar/bistro for dinner, all the food was freshly made on the premises and was excellent, the bar was warm and cosy with a fire in the background, what a great place to spend a cold November evening. Afterwards we retired to our room to share a glass of wine whilst sitting looking out at the twinkling lights of Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth...would recommend this hotel to anyone young or old, it is a great place to escape to with wonderful owners, staff and superb freshly made food. We will definately be returning.
